I find my best art work comes from when I'm passionate about the reason to create it. This image was from my series Children of the Evolution, that explores the future of our children who don't know how to climb trees anymore or dig holes in the mud or explore through forrests. This litigious world that holds a fear for home made swings on council verges and see saws in parks; a media driven society that prides itself on spreading news about abductions and abuse, making us cautious and fearful; a world for our children where TV, video games and computers becomes a safer option. I entered three images from this series in the WA AIPP awards this year. This one was awarded gold.
