Rottnest Wedding - Kate and Ryan

It's what dreams are made of - white sandy beaches, turquoise calm seas, riding your bike back from the bakery with the smell of your freshly baked baguette wafting under your nose, the calls of seagulls and the gentle sound of waves lapping on the shore as you fall asleep each night contented with another day in paradise. Rottnest, dreamy Rottnest, I miss you. But for Kate and Ryan, the place will hold even more nostalgia as they grow old together. For them it's the place where dreams are made and futures are promised (with Quokkas curiously looking on).

Kidogo Art House and Little Creatures - Michael and Claire's Wedding

Picture this: you tie the knot on the deck of the historic Kidogo Art House Gallery, as the sun goes down over the Indian Ocean behind you. Afterwards you pop champers and celebrate your nuptials with friends and family without having to dash off for photos – because you’ve already done that en route to your ceremony, just the two of you, walking through the quaint streets of Fremantle. Then you and all of your 120 guests walk a few hundred meters along the Fremantle docks to the very hip Little Creatures Brewery marquee that sits over the harbour as the last of the golden sun fills the rooms before giving way to the shimmering harbour lights. Then you eat and dance and drink and sing and laugh and cry until you feel you could just burst with so much emotion after such an incredible day. Imagine that.  Michael and Claire didn't have to imagine, it as all so beautifully real for them on the second last day of 2016.
